Denise Mina is the author of Garnethill, which won the CWA John Creasy Dagger for Best First Crime Novel, and more than a dozen subsequent works of crime fiction. She also writes plays, short stories, and graphic novels, and was inducted into the Crime Writers’ Association Hall of Fame in 2014. Born in Glasgow, she studied law before turning to writing and has since become a leading voice in contemporary crime literature.
