Dale Brown is an American author and former U.S. Air Force captain, best known for his aviation techno-thrillers. A decorated navigator-bombardier with more than 2,500 flight hours in B-52s, he drew on his military background to write Flight of the Old Dog and many subsequent bestsellers. His novels have been translated into multiple languages and published worldwide. Born in Buffalo, New York, he studied history at Penn State before serving in the Air Force.
