Claire Fuller is an award-winning British novelist and short fiction writer. She is the author of five acclaimed novels, including Unsettled Ground (winner of the 2021 Costa Novel Award and shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction), Bitter Orange, Swimming Lessons, and Our Endless Numbered Days (winner of the 2015 Desmond Elliott Prize). Her most recent novel is The Memory of Animals (2023). Fuller’s work has been translated into more than twenty languages, earning international recognition for its lyrical prose and emotional depth. She holds a master’s degree in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Winchester and lives near Winchester, England.
