Christina Davis spent countless hours with a flashlight under the covers as a child, reading everything she could get her hands on at her local library. She enjoys coffee and tea (not at the same time, obviously!), and if she had a superpower, she would choose invisibility. Her books feature strong female characters, adventure, and fantastic, imaginative worlds. She is an alumna of San Jose State University who lives in rural California with her family. She writes every chance she gets.

I adore Tamora Pierce and Anne Bishop. A reader once compared me to them and I was floored.

I don’t do repeats, but I last gifted the Fourth Wing set.

Of all the characters you've penned, who has been most influenced by your personal story?

Neva, the main character of the Da’Valia Trilogy. Everything from knife-throwing, which I learned how to do one very fun Christmas, to a messy love life to a complicated relationship with death was very much influenced by my own life.

What is your favorite book that you've written?

Infinite Night, because the bad guy got what was coming.

9

Describe your writing space.

A laptop - in the car, at the coffee shop, at the library, in my home office, in the yard, at my kitchen table, in bed, at my friend’s house, even an airplane. Just gotta keep the battery charged!

10

And finally, what's your ideal reading nook?

I would love to have one of those floor-to-ceiling libraries with a hidden passage way, a fireplace, a huge LoveSac bean bag.
