“They were alive when I left them.”
Vince robs banks, and he has a rule: never rob a bank too close to home, especially when home is a small town in Central Illinois. He broke that rule last night, and now he’s got some big problems.
First problem: three people were in the bank when he robbed it. When he left, they were all alive. Now local news is reporting there were only two people in the bank and they’re both dead. He needs to figure out what happened before he takes the fall.
Second problem: his money launderer, Donatella “Donnie the Wolf” Lupo, heard he scored over a million in cash, and she wants her cut. There was nowhere near that much money, leaving Vince short. Donnie and Vince are friends, but she’s had friends killed before.
Third problem: He keeps running into Melani, the third person at the bank that night. Is she trying to pin the murders on him or is she working her own scam?
Vince needs to solve these problems before the cops catch him or he catches a bullet.
