Life was easier, back when Becca wasn't anyone particularly special, but now she's the queen of a tribe of Makkai, and every decision is up to her. She's got to keep everybody together, plus soul in body, for long enough to figure out what's supposed to happen next.
But at least Lange isn't dead.
