Serpent Turned

She's cursed and he's the cure. As a half-serpent, half-woman, Becca faces a fast descent into madness if she doesn't bond with a Charmer. Unless she can find a way to break the curse instead.

Avaan is a willing and devilishly handsome Charmer, but Becca refuses to perform the final bonding ceremony and give him full control of her serpent form. When the flute is broken in a car crash and Becca and Avaan are stuck half-bonded, their only choice is to seek outside help.

After finding a hidden Lamia sanctuary, Becca is given all the freedom that she's dreamed of since being cursed. But the sanctuary turns out to be a fanatic cult, and Becca encounters a devastating ultimatum: bond with Avaan and imprison him with his own blood, or leave the sanctuary to seek an impossible, and possibly imaginary, cure.

The choice might be easier if falling in love wasn't a very real possibility.
