Naomi Tretheway just wants a normal life—well, as normal as an urban werewolf can get. She's got a job, an apartment far from her overbearing mother, and zero interest in pack politics. But when her little brother is kidnapped, her peaceful existence goes belly-up.

The kidnappers have a plan: force him to shift on live TV, expose werewolves to the world, then hunt down Naomi's entire family. Not great.

Out of options, Naomi teams up with the only supernatural she can find on short notice—a vampire. (Yes, she's aware that trusting a bloodsucker is probably a bad idea.)
