I lost my high-powered legal career and my boss-slash-boyfriend to one of my clients. It's hard not to hold a grudge, particularly since he destroyed me to conceal his white collar crimes. Worse, his new girlfriend is a social media influencer who's flooding the internet with their supposed happiness. It doesn't help that I've moved back in with my eccentric mother and am pretending to enjoy redecorating her mansion. I end up telling my new brother-in-law all about my problems over a flask of whiskey after our siblings' wedding. He looks like trouble and talks like it too, so I'm not surprised when he tells me the only way to get over such a slight is to get even. What does shock me is that he wants to help.

I've never been much good for anyone, so I figure I might as well be a little bad for a good cause. Emma's a strong woman who's forgotten her strength. I'd like to remind her of her power. And, sure, I'd like to do other things, too, but even I know better than to seduce my own sister-in-law. My sister is married to her brother, so any bad decisions we make will be impossible to escape. Still...something tells me it would be worth it.
