Andrew Platten was born in England and now lives in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island with his two children. He started out in technology, drawn to its almost magical power to change lives for better or worse, and sees plenty of overlap between tech and fantasy. A pilot and view junkie, he loves exploring new places and people-watching to better understand human nature-insights that shape his characters. When he’s not writing or flying, he’s likely giving in to his greatest weakness: cheese.
