Seven Years in Shelomoh

Young Sashia travels to a remote learning community in a distant mountain range, determined to learn the art of healing. Apprenticed to a pair of Magi healers, she learns that peace with yourself and others is the most important goal.

If you have read A Crack in the Rock, you know there is a time gap in the beginning. This story fills the gap. It did not fit with the tale I wanted to tell in that book, so I turned it into a novella. It can be read as a standalone.
